Ask, Seek & Knock!

As I pondered over, Matthew 7:7 NLT says, “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”


I realized that God is giving us a clear directive—we will receive what we ask for. So, why do some of us hesitate to ask, even when the Bible encourages us to ASK, SEEK, and KNOCK?


The reasons are varied:

1. Fear often paralyzes us.

2. Doubt and a lack of faith in His process.

3. Feelings of unworthiness due to our past or sin.

4. The fear of disappointment and rejection in life, among others.


Do these reasons sometimes hinder us from believing and asking Him? Unfortunately, yes.


It’s essential to introspect and question why we’re holding ourselves back. You might have many reasons not to ask Him, but isn’t He the God who provides? Even if asking leads to disappointment, He is there to help you in that very moment.


So, let’s remember to Keep on ASKING, SEEKING, and KNOCKING.
